I’m trying to catch-up on posts, so currently I have 5 titles for entries I need to complete… This could mean that there will be a flurry of activity here over the next few days or it could mean, that they stay drafts for a long long time. Where do blog entries go to die? I may find out.
This entry is mostly about clothes that I made for another swap partner. In this swap everything had to be made from recycled items. I was paired with the ‘mummy’ to Marc who is a teenie gem with an attitude. I chose to have my partner make clothes for a doll I have paid for but am still waiting on. She is also a teenie gem, which means sizing will work out well. But I still haven’t received her and am not sure when she will arrive.
She is from a doll company named SOOM and is one of their Glot sculpts (but in a normal skin colour). I have bought lovely green glass eyes for her and a light turquoise wig that I will style to suit her. She has goat hooves, goat horns and wings and will be named Piper Caelestis.
Mimi was the only one around who could fit on Marc’s outfits.
Here is how that turned out.
Me: Look at the camera sweetie…
Mimi: erm.. no, these are boys clothes!
Me: ok Catch!
Mimi: ok… so maybe I will pose for the rest, but be quick about it.
Mimi: I did mention you need to hurry right?
Me: just a couple more….
Mimi: Seriously this one has skulls on it, totally ridiculous!
and then there’s the one she got a bit upset about…
